Ally Sheedy
Alexandra Elizabeth Sheedy born in June 1962 was an American actress from America. Her film debut was in Bad Boys (1983). Following that She joined the Bratpack group and appeared on screen in WarGames (1983) The Breakfast Club(1985) as well as Short Circuit (1986). The performance of Sheedy in Lisa Cholodenko's High Art (2000) won her the Independent Spirit Award, Best Female Actor. Ally Sheedy is an American actress and an author. She started her film career beginning in the early 1980s, with the film based on a crime drama Bad Boys, for which she received a lot of applause. Rick Rosenthal directed the movie that also featured a number of popular actor Sean Penn Esai Morales Clancy Brown Alan Ruck. Following her first film She was in 1985's comedy drama film The Breakfast Club. The film by John Hughes called The Breakfast Club has been hailed as one of high school cinema's best films. While the budget for the film was only $1 million, its profits exceeded $50 million. In the meantime she started appearing on TV in various shows such as CBS Schoolbreak. It was her first television appearance. This show aimed at teenagers which began in April of 1980. The other shows she appeared in included Chicago Story Big City Samuels and the Kid and Hill Street Blues. Recent appearances by Sheedy are Little Sister as well as X-Men Apocalypse, a movie featuring a hero in which she appears in a cameo. Sheedy has been praised for her outstanding performances. has received numerous awards, one of which was an MTV Movie Award for Silver Bucket of Excellence Award in the year 2005.
